Hello, my name is Jack and I am an independent website designer, developer, and optimizer based in Alameda, California. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri where I get at least some credit for bringing live music back to the Central West End and was very involved with the local music scene there. I moved to Hood River, Oregon in the mid-90's and eventually wound up in San Francisco where I co-founded Financial Interactive, a software and web-services based startup that was eventually bought up by Big Cheese.
You can learn more about my webstuff at Superclean Web Design where I create and maintain websites for a wide variety of businesses, from B2B sites to specialized musician sites (including my favorite musician Danny Barnes) and many others around the country and the San Francisco Bay Area. My specialty is building powerful, customized Content Management System websites based on Drupal, the open source gem. Recently, Superclean branched into SEO / Website Optimization and Promotion services with SupercleanPR.com.
I am also very involved in my local community and have contributed to several websites here, most notably Alameda Point Info and Alameda Waterfront, our local America's Cup Site. More recently, I'm involved with the Alameda Community News Project which just launched in early 2012.
My family is very "aquatic" as we all swim and are also learning to surf on the Marin Coast. To help promote the swimming kids in the area, I created another website AquaticsFan.com which has morphed into a "pool finder" resource, as we recently defected our pool time to Oakland.
Thanks for visiting.
