Don't you love it when congress gets together with George Bush? Patriot Act... Iraq War... and now Bailouts for Bankers. You think this was going to save your 401k? What are you, nuts!?!?!
My representative Peter Stark voted AGAINST the bailout (again!!) and it's a nice to know that my interests are somewhat represented. Too bad for everyone else in the Bay Area, though. Thompson, Woolsey, and Barbara Lee of Oakland all flipped for the bankers this time along w/ the other 8 (including Pelosi) who went w/ Bush's plan the first time. Perhaps they should go.
I saw Senator Diane Feinstein tell us on t.v. that 90% of her constituents are AGAINST the bailout... but she is for it... she thinks we are too dumb to know what's going on. And she thinks she is saving us? Time for her to go.
