Custom Plastics
Submitted by jack on November 19, 2009 - 8:59am.Sometimes we refer to our 6-year-old as Groundscore Hank. He is always watching the ground, looking for loot. Sometimes he finds cash, but more often he finds broken toy parts... all the better if you ask him. He has a special affinity for molded plastic pieces -- not necessarily the 5000 lego pieces in his room but rather "customized" pieces in the wild.
So it was with great interest that I took on the e*PolyStar project. E*PolyStar manufactures custom plastic packaging nearby in San Leandro. My contact there is passionate about the materials and processes and it was fun to see it in action during my photo shoot. read more »

Fellow Alamedan Matthew Anderson of Foresight Analytics was just quoted and named in The Economist magazine! That's a pretty big darned deal for a little research house based in Oakland. I especially like the article because I am so short Commercial Real Estate that I can walk under doors. (not investment advice.)
