We visited Judd's Hill Winery up in Napa a few times this summer. It's a very cool, laid back small-production winery near the town of Napa at the beginning of the Silverado Trail. We never would have known about it if it wasn't for my brother who knows Pat, the BBQ Champion who runs their tasting facility. We think all of their wines are awesome and very reasonable too.

Here is Jay (helps run the tasting room) modeling the 2002 Estate Cab. WOW!! It was pouring very nicely on this visit. A few weeks later we went into Rock Wall here in Alameda and there was Jay... about to taste the viognier that we were coming in for. I tried to return the favor by suggesting he try Rock Wall's 2006 cab... but guess what it's all-the-way-gone.
