This is a catchall from just hanging out in the San Francisco Bay Area Fall/Winter 2011. Includes some #occupyOakland action, hanging around the San Francisco Waterfront, the Alameda waterfront trail near our house, Berkeley, and Coyote Point.
We took the night off from swim practice to take the kids to a cultural night at the museum last month. Okay, maybe it was mainly to see Deerhoof play in the entrance of the SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) but there were many bonus surprises.
For Henry's 8th birthday, we surprised him with a cruise aboard the S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien in the midst of San Francisco's awesome Fleet Week. The Jeremiah O'Brien is a very famous Liberty Ship that is the only current seaworthy ship that took part in the D-Day Invasion in 1944.
